DK: What is the origin behind the band name? How long did it take to come up with it? What were some of the band names that did not make the final cut?

CZ: It was in a song that never made it.  We were almost Team Grande.  Somewhere there's a little indy band called the Velveteen Rabbits.  But that was never going to be our name.

DK: What are your favorite local bands? What is your favorite venue to play? What is your favorite venue to see a show? Any future tour plans?

CZ: I really like the Western States Motel.  Bedroom Walls.  The Henry Clay People.  Los Angeles has a great scene, people don't give it enough credit.  The Echo is a cool venue to play and watch shows at. As far as touring goes, we plan to play all the way from Silverlake to Venice.  Well maybe not Venice.
